I am loving this mat as it is encouraging me to actually do stretches and yoga in my living room. I am using the mat like a permanent floor rug so it takes me minimal effort to start exercising. I have always found floor exercises painful on my knees but this mat has the right thickness so I can do most exercises. The mat is grippy and easy to clean. Yes, as a floor rug, I vacuum it and that is easy enough. I would recommend this mat, especially if you are a beginner to stretching and yoga.

The (almost) perfect yoga mat for me. Super comfortable and easy on my joints and bones. No more limbs hanging outside the mat regardless of position. Quality feels like it will last me a long time. However, i would say the mat is not super portable as it is huge so more of a home mat. Perhaps another one with the same length but smaller width would be more portable.

My matt arrived promptly as advised at order. Is very comfortable during my yoga practice, the material compresses then bounces back afterwards. I have it laying on top of a large rug, it does move on the rug, it may be more grippy on a smooth surface. Overall am very happy with my matt purchase. :)

I travel for four months of each year and this year decided I deserved a Miramat so I could take my practice anywhere. I flew from Australia to Europe, my Miramat was accepted as check-in Luggage and at only 4 kg it was easy to do. My first practice was at the beach, it’s exactly what I need to be able to practice to my hearts content without running out of room. I lost my favourite Yoga mat and went through a couple trying to find the right Replacement and I'm really happy with the miramat. I'm very tall and like extra length. It's not too soft or spongy and has a great grip to it. Big enough for my toddler and I to practice together instead of putting out two mats

Absolutely love this mat. I am forever going off the side of my original mat in certain poses - this fixed that all together. I have room to stretch out without having a foot or hand on cold tiles!
The thickness is also brilliant, my knees don’t need a cushion anymore.

If you have a dedicated area to place this mat, then this is the one to buy as this extra sized mat provides heaps of space. Not a mat I would personally get if you need to transport it often or take to classes.

Very satisfied with the size. Good cushion for joints and ab workouts. Grip is not as good as the best yoga mats. Maybe it will get better as it breaks in.

Great quality, nice padding and stands up to dpg claws when they stand on it occasionally. Using it with a yoga sling/hammock. It stays in place on my tiles when cheaper mats slide and large enough that I don't have to come in contact with tiles when I'm away from the suspension point.

The Miramat is fantastic. Yoga, calisthenics, mobility... it does it all and you're always on the mat. Sticks to the floor and grip is great, whilst still letting you do all the transitions. Couldn't be happier.

I cleared a new space for yoga, and because I have cold hard tiles, I wanted a wide mat for those side reaches. A bit of searching lead to Miramat being found and promptly purchased. It has converted the cold hard tiles to a cosy space for yoga - and for just working on my lap top in sphinx pose (like right now). Non-slip with a good thickness that means no problem when the yoga practice calls for rocking the spine along the floor. Two cats fully approve - and haven't scratched it at all as much as I expected. Thank you!

Prior to purchasing this mat, my partner and I were using a flimsy yoga mat that wasn't even wide enough to execute a range of exercises which made working out really difficult. Not only that, but it stuck to our shoes. However we decided that if we were going to set up our gym at home, we would look to invest in something more suitable that ticked all the boxes. Well, this mat is the best investment we've made for our home gym and it's been a treat to workout on it without it sticking to our shoes or fold underneath us. Really awesome product!

Matt is certainly big enough. Does not slip on floor. Though if your sweaty like me, I find my hands still slip doing yoga. The matt is soft enough to be able to dig your nails in for grip. All in all one of the better matts. Will be purchasing one for the wife.

Great size mat! The size makes it so convenient when doing stretches. For those with a super sensitive nose, the mat does have a slight smell but if you follow the cleaning instructions before using then it should dissipate after a few days. The grip is good although not as grippy as my previous mat (different brand) but it offers more cushion support so it makes floor exercises comfortable.

I exercise in a small area, the Miramat is perfect because it is large enough to cover the area. I found with a single size mat my limbs would go over the edges. This size is excellent for yoga, pilates, barre etc. It's thick enough to pad my tail bone when doing core exercises, and super grippy for yoga poses. If I practice outside on concrete it's the perfect size and thickness for a comfortable session. I highly recommend it!

Delivery took a little longer than I expected for a domestic purchase, but the mat is great. Surprising how non-slip it is on my floor, every other foam/yoga mat I’ve used slides to no end. It’s a great size and easily twice as thick as other yoga mats.

I'm using this for Pilates on a hardwood floor and I'm very happy with it. My previous mat was much thicker and I thought it was large but it's not as big as this mother. It was also not nearly as stable, stretching out while I was in different poses and making stability difficult. The miramat doesn't budge - it doesn't slide on the floor and the structure of it doesn't stretch either, so that's brilliant. I'm just under 6ft tall and recommend this size. Because I have bony knees and shins, I find it helps me to grab a soft pad to put under them for any kneeling work. Overall, this thing is great.

Yep, I love this mat for my Movingness (organic body movement) practice. The extra size means I can comfortably roll from side to side and stay mostly on the mat. For yoga, my downward dogs don't feel completely slip-free and I did clean thoroughly. Perhaps that will come in time. Now I'm heading off to buy the Miramat giga so we can workout with our shoes and dumbbells.
