So nice to not have to shuffle myself back on to the mat while stretching/doing yoga. Enough thickness to protect my knees and elbows without being too spongy to make balancing difficult. It isn't super grippy as yet but it's sticky enough for me. Super sweaty peeps will still slide. The grippiness is increasing with use, and I totally recommend doing the initial clean as suggested in the instructions.

Received extra large (200 x 120) Miramat about 3 weeks ago & have used it nearly every day. It has saved my joints from pounding into the pavers & stubbing my fingers into the pavers when doing fast burpees. It’s fabulous for doing high impact cardio with plenty of room for side to side travelling during cardio. It’s not slippery but also allows you to move freely. (Not sure if It becomes slippery with lots of sweat.) Haven’t sweated as much since owning it as it’s Winter. Also plenty of room for doing a variety of strength training moves. I no longer have to continuously move my small mat around to suit what I am doing. The only thing I still use small mat for is a bit of extra cushioning when I’m laying on my back for strength training. I have been putting a tarp under the mat to protect it as the pavers are quite rough. It slips a tiny bit on that but very minimal and not noticeable at all during workout. I love my mat and highly recommend to anyone.

Good grip on concrete and other surfaces, and at least protecting my ropes when I jump.. but a little bit of sweat and it becomes a slip and slide. Can't use it for any floor work without a towel.

The size is fabulous. There is freedom to really stretch properly, without the awful feeling of being off the mat. Naturally a little heavy, given the size, so it’s good to have a set place for it, but all in all, I am very happy with my purchase & would recommend to anyone.

I've had this mat for a while. It's excellent for me to use with my kettlebell routine. It rolls up nicely when I am not using it but is heavy enough that it lies flat when I roll it out.
It doesn't bother me but it has marked a bit from my trainers which have a partially white sole. I find it a bit inspiring as it shows I've used it. It doesn't move when I do Turkish get-ups which is essential. I put my kettlebells on it and the mat doesn't get flat spots.
They are perhaps not the cheapest but the quality is top-notch and I think I would be hard pressed to find another exercise mat, that I could roll up easily, of such quality.

All good but too slippery to do yoga on it. Need yoga mat on top. This is unfortunate because it’s advertised as being for exercise and yoga. I’m really hoping that over time the slippery surface will roughen up and become more grippy.

I am using the Miramat for dancing in the VR game, "Beat Saber." It has proven to be a necessary piece of equipment (as I'm essentially playing blind with my eyes inside a VR headset) so my feet are the only thing to tell me where I am in space. I am usually either just wearing socks or I am barefoot and the textured surface has the perfect amount of grip without tripping me. The large size prevents the mat from slipping around like I have experienced with traditional yoga mats and gives me adequate play space so I can spread my wings. These mats are also incredibly affordable, and I would even suggest them as anti-fatigue mats for workplaces where you would expect to pay even more for a mat a fraction of this size.

I purchased our first 200x120 Miramats in 2021. Jane at Miramats was very easy to deal with, and the mats were ordered on a Friday and delivered the following Monday. They were exactly as described. No odor and were not what I would call hard, but have definitely softened with use. They are easy to clean - a quick vacuum and wipe over with a damp cloth is all they need. 2 years on, after daily use, for multiple classes a day, they look as good as the day they arrived. When I needed more mats I purchased one from a different brand, because it looked the same and was cheaper, so I thought it was worth a try, but it just isn't the same quality - it is hard and hasn't softened as promised. So when I needed to buy mats for our suspension trainers I went back to Miramat and bought 4 Megamats in 2022. And then more 200x120 for our new Yoga room this year. They are the best mats out there! They look great, are easy to clean, comfortable to lie on, offer a non slip work out surface for bare feet, and don't creep or slip during class.

I have been using a traditional yoga mat for Apple Fitness+ exercises, including strength and other workouts. I have been frustrated by the need to step off the mat when doing things like lunges, or to reorganise myself so I'm working sideways to the screen. I finally decided to get a large mat like the trainers use, and found this alternative. While somewhat pricey, it's not as expensive as others. I'm really happy with the ability to use the whole mat without me having to move myself constantly. It's a great size and thickness. It's still a little slippery for downward dog, but I'm hoping over time that will ease. I'm very happy with this purchase for the way I use it.

I have had the mat for a couple of weeks and use it almost every day for some HIT workouts, mainly centred around skipping. I am 74 and thought it might be better for the joints than on concrete.
